Everyone knows that running the engine at idle speed can cause incomplete combustion and carbon deposition, so we need to regularly clean and maintain the car engine. And the car heater just solves this problem. When the car is parked, the car heater can be operated separately to preheat the engine and provide temperature for the interior. The engine is the heart of a car, and while we reduce engine wear, we should also pay attention to the maintenance and upkeep of the car heater.
1. The oil circuit and car heater mainly rely on the consumption of fuel to provide heat. So the oil pipeline and oil filtering equipment should be kept clean and unobstructed.
2. Internal cleaning of the engine will generate carbon deposits, and the car heater will also generate carbon deposits in the combustion chamber. So when we use it, we find that the combustion is not sufficient, and when the temperature is not reached, it is likely that there is too much carbon deposition. At this point, we need to clean the carbon deposition in the combustion chamber. Of course, keeping the oil circuit clean and unobstructed can greatly reduce the generation of carbon deposits, so we can clean it a few times less
3. Check if there is any leakage in the circulating water pump and pipeline of the car heater.
4. The automatic controller, solenoid valve, and other electrical components of the heater are maintained according to general low-voltage electrical maintenance methods. The performance parameters of the automatic controller have been carefully adjusted by the manufacturer, and users are not allowed to modify them without authorization.
5. In the season when the car heater is not needed for heating, start the heater 3-4 times, each time running for about 5 minutes.
6. The motor used in the heater normally does not require maintenance after 3000 hours of use. If abnormal operation is caused by prolonged use or other reasons, maintenance should be carried out to check the wear of carbon brushes or bearing lubrication. If necessary, lubricating grease should be added or pre run carbon brushes replaced.
