1. The heating effect is not significant
The performance is that the heater is overheated, and the radiator and defroster are not hot. Reason: The backwater outlet is too narrow; There is gas in the circulating water circuit; The rubber hose has been bent; Foreign objects are blocked in the circulation pipeline; Water pump failure; If the inlet and outlet water valves are not opened, or the engine thermostat is opened too early, identify the cause and carry out corresponding repairs.
2. No response after startup
a. No power input. Measure whether the heater power supply is normal according to the circuit diagram, and check the vehicle fuse and circuit power supply. Check the power supply, power on signal line, and ground wire.
b. Thermocouple issue: Phenomenon: Measure the resistance value at both ends of the thermocouple to be 0 ohms. Reason: The two outgoing wires of the thermocouple are connected to the casing, causing the ignition sensor to be grounded.
3. The heater emits black smoke
a. Clean the carbon deposits on the heater.
b. If the fuel injector, filter or oil pipe is blocked, clean or replace the corresponding components.
c. The oil pump pressure decreases, adjust the oil pressure back, and replace the oil pump if necessary.
4. Indicator light issue
a. The indicator light is constantly on. Perhaps the control circuit is broken or the ground wire is not connected.
b. Turn on indicator light flashing
According to the flashing frequency of the heater indicator light and the fault code table, the fault location can be determined, and corresponding components can be repaired or replaced.
5. The heater operates normally, but repeatedly extinguishes the fire
Reason: When the hot spot is heated, the internal furnace wire will be connected to the shell, causing a short circuit in the ignition sensor. The controller believes that the fire is extinguished and needs to replace the ignition sensor.
