The parking heater oil pump product has a compact structure, small size, and convenient installation. The product itself is generally very good, but many drivers and users may experience some malfunctions.
Let's talk about the possible causes of oil pump failure.
1. Oil quality issues. One possible issue with oil quality may be the quality of the oil. Sometimes, impurities may enter the fuel tank and then enter the oil pipe. May cause damage to the oil pump.
2. Perhaps that's because the temperature is too low, causing the oil to freeze. Resulting in the oil pump being blocked and burnt out due to immobility. So it is recommended to add low pour point oil when using the parking heater, so that the oil will not freeze.
3. Circuit problems, complex driving conditions of various cars, may cause damage to the fuel pump wiring.
4. Installation angle issue, which can also cause damage to the oil pump or heater malfunction.
Below are the precautions for installing the parking heater oil pump:
The fixed oil pump uses a shock-absorbing rubber sleeve, and a rubber tube is used for transition between the oil pump and the oil pipe. The oil pipe must be inserted to the bottom and tightly pressed against the oil pump and the oil inlet of the machine body, otherwise bubbles may cause shutdown. The installation angle of the oil pump is recommended to be inclined upwards by 15 °, and parallel installation is not allowed. The length of the oil pipes at both ends of the oil pump cannot exceed 5m.
1. It is not allowed to choose an installation angle between 0 ° and 15 °
2. Priority should be given to selecting installation angles between 15 ° and 35 °
3. Allow selection of installation angles between 35 ° and 90 °
Installing the parking heater oil pump according to the above method is a necessary condition for us to ensure the normal use of the parking heater.
